We have two furnaces. A safety switch was clicking off twice a day on one of them. We choose Garry for his price, local to St. Albert and a Trane representative. We were nervous, the work could be completed prior to Christmas. Garry rescheduled other work, sent over 3 people and completed both prior to company coming. Thanks Gary and team.
‘Twas the night before Christmas and everything was quiet’ too quiet in fact, the furnace wasn’t operating. Called Garry and Rick was at our door within an hour. Fixed and ready in an hour in preparation for arriving family.
My furnace had stopped and I called Garry’s. Booked me an appointment for noon then they called to say they could come early. Diagnosed my problem in a couple of minutes and told me I just needed a part replaced. Rick the installer was awesome and answered ALL my questions! Recommend these guys!
Installing a new a/c unit as well as new furnace has made all the difference in our home. The temperatures inside are consistent and seldom very more than 2 degrees from the basement to the top floor regardless of the temp outside. The wireless portable thermostat is great. Leaving the furnace fan on has actually lowered our power bills compared to the old furnace. Nice job guys…Thanks
In the spring of 2015, we had a Trane air conditioner installed. We are completely satisfied with the work that was done by Cole and Darrell. In August we had the furnace and ducts cleaned by this company and Vince did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Garry’s Heating Services.

We had a TRANE furnace installed by GARRY’S HEATING SERVICES in January 2014.
GARRY came over to give us an estimate. He was very personable and there was no “Have to do this right now” sales pitch. He was able ot answer all of our questions and clarify our concerns. Garry sent out two workers to do the installation – Steven and Jay – two very courteous, polite and thorough workers.These two did a great job and we appreciated how tidy they were.

This summer we had a new furnace and air conditioner installed, plus a vent and duct cleaning, all by Garry’s Heating Service. Every person we dealt with was efficient, courteous and prompt. Prices were exactly as quoted. We are 100% satisfied and highly recommend this company.
We have used Garry’s Heating for various duct problems and furnace cleaning in the past and have always been impressed with the level of service we received. We recently used them to install our air conditioner and the service we received was excellent. Everyone involved in the process from receiving our quote to installing our new air conditioner was friendly, informative and helpful. The electrician they recommended, DB Proline Electric also did great work upgrading our electrical panel. We are very happy with our new air conditioner and would recommend Garry’s Heating to anyone with heating and air conditioning needs.

Cole was great, I learned more about my furnace and AC in 30 minutes than all the services calls I have had since they were installed 10 years ago. A good fix, some clear information about what to repair and when to replace. Very pleased and they will be my go to.
I had issues with the furnace not firing up and Garry came out and resolved the issue for me and stated there wouldn’t be a cost and there wasn’t! Hard to get good service and he gave it. Recommend his company to anyone.
Our furnace broke overnight and after calling around 15 different places completely booked up until next week, I was referred to Garry’s. They were fantastic. They got here by the afternoon and he fixed our furnace in about 30 minutes. We are super appreciative, especially given how cold it is outside!
Very impressed with the service. The guys doing the install were very courteous and professional – they arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves, and engaged with the very curious & inquisitive 4 year old that kept an eye on all of their work. The entire duration from quote to installation was under a week during one of the hottest weeks of the year. Would definitely recommend their services to others.
Furnace Zoning System Install Testimonial
My wife and I had our basement finished this year with the idea to have a corner fireplace in the living room. After the basement was framed we realized that we didn’t like how much space this was going to take up. We wanted an extra heat source downstairs but didn’t know what our options were so we called Garry’s to come out.
After talking with Garry about our options we decided to separate the basements heat zone from the rest of the house. Garry sent us a quote and to our surprise going this route was less expensive than our original fireplace idea. Now that the basement is completed we love it, as most basements are colder then the rest of the house if we are going to be down there we turn up the thermostat a few degrees and within minutes is comfortable and warm without changing the heat in the rest of the house. Since we have moved in we have complained about how cold our children’s bedrooms are every winter as they are both built over our garage we thought we didn’t have many options until we once again called Garry’s.
Garry came out and we discussed the possibility of separating the kids bedrooms as separate heats zones as well. The system we had installed in the basement had room for 3 zones so after another very reasonable quote from Garry’s we proceeded to have the kids rooms on their own heat zone. Now no matter what room or part of the house you are in or what the temperature is outside we find our house exactly the way it should be.
A simple solution to cold areas in your house without a huge expense, I would recommend this to anyone trying to even out heating issues with their house. Our house is only 2 years old and now wonder why this system isn’t something they install in every house, its made a world of difference in ours. We found Garry and Garry’s staff to be prompt on any issues we had with the system after install, the price was worth it 100% and they we always friendly.
I don’t often write testimonials but I think this company deserves a great review and the zoning system has changed the comfort level in our house to what a home should be.
